Chhakra... The change... - Cultural Festival

Chakkra... The change... is the annual intra college festival held every year in the month of March. It is a respite from the rigorous course of classes to rejuvenate the spirit among entire HI-TECH family including faculty, staff and students. The entire festival is managed by the cultural, sports and academic committees comprising faculty and students.

Sports Meet 2010

Sports meet was held on 12th of March, 2010 in the Police Academy Ground. The students participated in full spirit in competitions such as 4 X 100 mtr relay race, 8 X 100 mtr relay race, tug of war, shot put, volley ball, basket ball, table tennis and kho kho.

Cultural Meet 2010

Cultural Meet was held on the 13th of March, 2010. The students from every degree program organized and participated in the events. The students presented their items like songs, dances, plays, instrumentsl, jokes etc. with complete enthusiasm and fantastic preparation in a very small duration allotted to them for the festival. Engineering students have formed a rock band which performed at the occassion. The students who perform with outstanding scores in University examination are also awarded cash prizes of Rs. 2100 and Rs. 1100 depending on their results. For the year 2009, those were Bibhav Kumar, Karishma Mangal, Sarita Uniyal, Jitesh Shukla, Garvita Bhatnagar, Himanshi Sharma, Deepika Sharma, Praveen Kumar, Shalini Chauhan, Iti Garg, Nidhi Pandey, Avinash Vishwakarma and Avinash Pratap Singh.

Cultural Meet 2009 was an extraordinary experience when Mr. U.S. Tomar, the honorable Registrar, U.P. Technical University, honored the HI-TECH family with his presence and inspiring words.

Academic Meet 2010

Academic meet was held in October 2009. The students organized various interesting events and competitions with the help of faculty and made the meet successful. The competitions were on technical presentations, programming, photography, debates in Hindi and English, sudoku, cartoon making, collage ideas, clever text writing etc.
